As we approach our later years, we are entering into a new “age” where we are getting older but many of us don’t yet feel “old”. The stories, symbols and archetypes for growing into and living fully in these new stages of life are slim pickings at best. We need to find new stories and myths that will guide us into and through these transitions.
The Transitions workshop is designed to help you creatively discover the richness and wisdom of the stories and experiences you have accumulated thus far and to record the intricate tapestry your life has created.
It is also designed to help you weave a new story, a new myth for the years ahead. How do we creatively imagine our lives going forward? What mysteries, wonders and epiphanies are waiting to be discovered?
In this workshop, participants will create a uniquely artistic book, journal or box to house their stories, musings and revelations. We will use a wide variety of art modalities for guided explorations into the realms of our past, present and future. These will include: mixed media, writing, collaging, art mapping and more. It is accessible to any level of creative or artistic experience.
